Snooker is a very popular strategic pool-variant that is played with fifteen unnumbered balls. 15 red balls, 6 object balls of other colors and a cue ball. Each ball is assigned a point value. The aim of snooker is to pocket as many balls as possible and score a greater number of points than the opponent.
Snooker is not as simple as just pocketing as many balls as you can throughout the course of the game. Ideally, you should try to pot as many balls consecutively without your opponent getting a chance to play. To do this, you will have to think ahead to where you would like the cue ball to end up in order to give yourself the best chance of potting another ball. You should also try to leave the cue ball in positions that will allow you to pot the high valued colors, giving you more points.
